Böcker, böcker, böcker

Efter att ha funderat på vad mitt nästa inlägg skulle bli kunde jag inte låta bli att landa i att jag ju såklart vill dela ett av mina nyfunna intressen – läsning! Jag vet, vem kunde anat att denna människa äntligen skulle plocka upp några böcker (och faktiskt tycka om dom!).

Allt började med att jag såg Fourth Wing flyga runt på generella sociala medier. Sen såg jag många läsa A Court of Thorns and Roses och vi får väl landa i att det tillslut blev en av de finaste influenserna år 2025.

After contemplating what my next post should be about I couldn’t help but settle on sharing one of my newest interests – reading! I know, who could’ve thought that this person finally would pick up some books (and actually both like and finish them..!).

Everything started when I started seeing Fourth Wing around general social media. Then I saw people getting into A Court of Thorns and Roses, and this simply ended up being one of my most beautiful influences of 2025.

Jag köpte min gulliga läsplatta för att kunna göra just detta – läsa när jag ammar, och oj vilken skillnad det blev. Den rena smidigheten med att inte behöva bära med sig alla sina böcker man vill läsa, slår det härliga med att bläddra i papper med flera kilometer för mig. Jag får helt enkelt inte läsningen gjord om jag skulle välja fysiska böcker varje gång, det bara händer inte. Och vilken räddning detta portabla bibliotek då är hörrni!

I bought my adorable e-reader to do just this – read when I’m breastfeeding, and wow what a different that made. The sheer convenience of not having to carry around all the books you want to read beats the joy of flipping through paper by miles for me. I simply can’t get the reading done if I had to choose physical books every time, it just doesn’t happen. And what a lifesaver this portable library is!

Jag ramlade iallafall in i Fourth Wing, och har ännu inte återhämtat mig. Jag ska inte spoila något, men om du funderar på att läsa om lite gulliga personer och drakar – gå inte, spring! Jag är helt säker på att det kommer komma objektivt sett bättre böcker in i mitt liv, men denna serie kommer alltid vara den största 5 av 5 stjärnor för mig utan tvekan.

Anyway, I fell into Fourth Wing, and I still haven’t recovered. I won’t spoil anything, but if you’re thinking about reading about some cute people and dragons – don’t walk, run! I’m sure there will be objectively better books coming into my life, but this series will always be the biggest 5 out of 5 stars for me without a doubt.

Jag läste ut alla Fourth Wing böcker, och började sedan på nästa serie – trodde jag! Jag planerade att börja med ACOTAR, men såg sedan en kompis från BookTok som berättade om att författaren har gjort tre bokserier i samma universum, och då hade jag ju liksom inget val längre. Jag och min imaginära bokklubbskollega Paulina satte igång med Throne of Glass. Det är också en fantasyserie som utspelar sig typ under medeltiden, och handlar om en lönnmördare man får följa från att hon är åtta år och hennes föräldrar blir mördade. Väldigt spännande, och väldigt många böcker. Vi är redan på bok tre (vem är jag?!), Heir of Fire!

Rekommenderar den här serien också, särskilt om ett metaverse är något som kallar dig. Det gör det mig iallafall.

I finished all the Fourth Wing books, and then started on the next series – or so I thought! I was planning to start with ACOTAR, but then I saw a friend from BookTok who told me that the author has three book series in the same universe (ACOTAR being one of them), and then I kind of had no choice anymore. So my imaginary book club colleague Paulina and I started on Throne of Glass. It’s also a fantasy series that takes place in the Middle Ages, and is about an assassin you follow from the time she’s eight years old and her parents are murdered. Very exciting, and a bunch of books. We’re already on book three (who am I?!), Heir of Fire!

I also really recommend this series, especially if a metaverse is something that calls to you. At least it does to me.
